Site Heat Treatment
Services - type MSL, is designed for freeze protection of
pipework and the temperature maintenance of process system
pipework in commercial and industrial applications.
|
| |
|
It is designed to be “cut to
length” from the reel, on site if required, and terminated
to suit simple or complex pipework configurations.
|
| |
|
Construction |
| |
|
The heating cable is
constructed to comply with the requirements of BS.6351 Part
1 : 1983 and has a 2.2 service category. It comprises of 2
stranded circular conductors or bus bars. Embedded in a
carbon polymer core, which generates more heat the colder it
becomes and less as the ambient temperature increases. The
heat conductive core is insulated with a polyethylene
elastomer jacket. Overbraiding and fluoropolymer outer
jacket are available for increased safety in hazardous and
chemically hostile environments. |
