Furnace Heat Treatment |

To supplement our site
operations, and to provide a comprehensive service, we
have established a Heat Treatment Furnace Division at
our own premises in Port Talbot.
|
|
|
|
Each of our 3 furnaces is
designed to
permit batch heat
treatments at temperatures up to 850°C, and is therefore
utilised on a regular basis for
stress relieving, annealing
and normalising of loads.

The furnace internal
dimensions are 8’ x 4’ x 4’ and have a maximum capacity of
2 tons.
|

|
Furnace treatment often
provides an economic option where an In Situ approach can be
avoided.
